Current Positions we are looking to fill are listed below!
Lifeguard
We need responsible, observant decision-makers to oversee our campers in and on the water. The extra responsibility of this job brings greater pay. We need you! Get certified!
Duties include:
Be present at all scheduled waterfront times
Train and supervise volunteers who help watch the docks and the boats
Perform regular cleaning of the boats, life jackets, and other waterfront items
Conduct daily checks of equipment for safety
**For those living on-site, the lifeguard position is often paired with a Kitchen or Custodial Assistant position.
Assistant Cook
We're looking for someone with camp or institutional cooking experience.
Primary responsibilities are preparing and serving meals and supervising kitchen assistants and volunteers. Work is available from June 15 - September 30 with some flexibility in scheduling.
Kitchen Assistant
Under the direction of an immediate supervisor; assist in meal preparation,
operate various pieces of kitchen equipment as directed, serve on the line,
wash dishes, pots, and pans as needed, clean up in the kitchen and dining room as needed,
assist other kitchen staff and volunteer helpers with their responsibilities,
maintain proper food storage procedures, follow established procedures and standard rules for operating
the kitchen and dining hall in a safe and appropriate manner. Other duties as assigned.
Custodial Assistant
Perform routine daily and weekly cleaning tasks in buildings, restrooms, and shower facilities, perform routine garbage pick up and disposal, carry out light maintenance and grounds keeping tasks as assigned by an immediate supervisor, conduct daily checks of equipment and facilities for safety, cleanliness, and repair, follow established procedures and standard rules for operating equipment and tools in a safe and appropriate manner.
These positions run from mid-June through mid-September.
There may be opportunity for some work before and after those dates.
Expect 32-40 hour work weeks. Wage DOE.
