Goal
Play safely along the shoreline and on the inflatable structures
How to Administrate
- A lifeguard must be present for any water activities
- A lifeguard will primarily supervise the inflatable structures or the swimming test
- Additional supervisors will be used to monitor the shoreline, arbitrate disputes, escort minor injuries to the camp nurse, and potentially be required to call 911
- Additional supervisors are required to follow the instructions of the lifeguards
- Additional supervisors are encouraged to be in the water, provided they do not contribute to dangerous activities of the swimmers
How to Participate
- A lifeguard must be present for any water activities
- Swimmers must abide by the instructions of the lifeguards
- Middle schoolers and younger will be required to wear lifejackets in depths beyond five feet unless they pass a swimming test
- The swimming test pass bracelet should be worn for the duration of the week
- Inflatables have three height levels, the highest is the top of the slide
- Swimmers are only allowed to jump from the first and second height levels
- Swimmers are only allowed to jump from the first and second height levels
- Swimmers should stay in control of their bodies at all times
- Swimmers exhibiting dangerous actions may lose their swimming privileges
- Swimmers are expected to express kindness to others
