2007 Consumer Confidence Report
The waves churning by the rock on the beach north of Camp.
Welcome to a new look web site. The aim is to help you find out what you need to participate in the ministry and programs of Wi-Ne-Ma Christian Camp. There are several new things for 2008. Check back often through the Spring as program elements are added.
Something new for 2008 will be the opportunity to take advantage of significant savings by registering early for the 2008 camps and conferences. This can benefit our campers by reducing the cost to attend a camp session. Early registration also helps those who plan the camp sessions.
For youth camps early registration and full payment by April 1, 2008 will result in a$15 savings. Or, if registered and paid by June 1, 2008 a $10 discount will be applied.
For the Family Camps including Christian Heritage Conference, Week of Missions, Family Bible Conference, and Septemberfest a 20% discount will be applied to those who register and pay in full by three months ahead of the conference session. Registration and payment by one month ahead of the session will result in a 10% discount.
Even if the registration is received after these discount deadlines, there will not be any late fees applied. The registrant will simply pay the base price.
Online registration is now open. You can also download and print a paper registration form. For those who register online, the discount will be applied after full payment is received and the discount refunded to your credit card.
A number of things are coming together in the Missions Building Project. We are up to $276,312 in funds received for the project. This includes the Friends of Wi-Ne-Ma Day special project, several special offerings, memorials gifts received, gifts from the 20/20 capital campaign, and the Our Dream-His Glory capital campaign.
We are currently working with a local bank to work out a construction loan so that once we start the project, we will be able to complete it.
The architect has been commissioned to start the plans and the permit process with Tillamook County and we are soon to hear from the builder about getting into their construction schedule. The plan is to contract out the basic building construction and then the Camp and its staff will oversee or do the rest of the work (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and finish work). So there will be a great need for work parties and other support as construction gets under way.
