Life in Abundance International invites you to attend the premiere of the documentary "This is My Normal" on January 26 at 7:00 pm at the Hollywood Theatre in Portland, Oregon. Those who attended Week of Missions in 2010 will remember Florence Muindi who was a featured missionary representing Life in Abudance.

"This is My Normal" is a sobering documentary exploring two primary questions, “What is poverty?” and “What is normal for the world's poor?”, through the stories and imagery from the slums in Nairobi, Kenya. In particular, the film focuses on the people of the Mathare Valley – a section of the Mathare slums often referred to as the “Forgotten Valley.” While the living conditions, unemployment, and health concerns are an embodiment of the (global) poverty issues, it is the “mindset” that is the gravest of concerns. This is My Normal tackles this issue alongside the abundance of “quick fix” solutions often presented by NGOs and sporadic visits from the West. Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and picturesque Winema Lake in south Tillamook County, Wi-Ne-Ma Christian Camp offers a variety of Christian camping experiences. Young people from grade three through High School take part in one of ten youth camp sessions. Excellent speakers, vibrant music, warm fellowship, and the coastal atmosphere lay at the heart of the five annual family and adult conferences. Then, from October through May the Camp's facilities can provide the place for your retreat or gathering.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2012 CAMPING SEASON. Follow the "Register Online" link as you plan for the new year.

Something new for this year. We want to encourage you who stay in tents while attending a conference at Wi-Ne-Ma Christian Camp. The encouragement is that you will receive a 5% discount off your total fee by choosing to stay in a tent rather than in Camp housing or in an RV.

"Adopt a Camper" is a way for you to help a young person attend Camp. By "adopting a camper" you can give the tuition certificate to a church to use or leave it with the Camp to pay for a young person to attend Camp. Click Here for more information.

Other directions: Winema Rd. is located between milepost 93 and 94 of Hwy 101. The turn off is about 3 miles north of Neskowin and 7 miles south of Cloverdale. Turn west or toward the ocean onto Winema Rd. Follow the paved road down the hill to the Camp.
